Ballia. On Wednesday, 68 workers on board a special train arriving in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh from Rajkot, Gujarat, have been found ill. This has increased the concern of the administration. At the same time, a laborer is isolated in the district hospital when his condition worsens. Whereas, the rest have been sent to the Quarantine Center. All will be sampled. 

Additional CMO Dr KD Prasad said that, at around 8 am, 1296 laborers from 32 districts got off the train in Ballia. It reached Ballia via Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi. Those who were screened by the Health Department. During this time, 68 laborers had temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. However, a laborer has been admitted to the district hospital due to poor health. The remaining 67 laborers have been quarantined at Jaipuria School. 

ACMO Prasad informed that, sampling of the patient admitted in the district hospital has been done. He has been sent for investigation. At the same time, sampling of quarantined laborers is also being done. He is also being monitored by the Health Department.
