Varanasi: Two including retired railway employee died of corona



Two people have died from Corona in Varanasi district. This includes a 78-year-old retired railway employee resident of Pieria Pokhari in Teliabagh and a large Pieri resident patient admitted to PGI Lucknow. Apart from this, 15 people including nine migrants have reported positive. 

After the number of infected patients in the district, the death toll is also increasing. CMO Dr. VB Singh said that the 78-year-old retired railway employee, resident of Pieria Pokhari in Teliabagh, was suffering from breathlessness, asthma and blood pressure for a long time. On June 9, he went to BHU for treatment where he had quarantines at home after giving samples. He died on 10 June. After this, the corona report has also come positive.

The CMO said that on June 3, a patient with corona-infected brain tumor from a large Pieri hot spot died while undergoing treatment at SGPGI. Now the death toll from corona in the district has come down to seven. Apart from this, 15 fourteen people, including husband and wife, have been found positive on Friday. All were admitted to the Isolation Ward.
