Delhi Metro sees over 15,000 commuters on 1st day of service resumption

At least 15,000 commuters availed Delhi Metro services which resumed on its Yellow Line on Monday with strict measures in place.

Metro services resumed in Delhi and a few other states on Monday as part of the Centre's 'Unlock 4' guidelines.

Delhi Metro operations resumed on Monday after nearly five months.

It may be noted that the Delhi Metro did not witness the usual rush after resumption and most stations bore a deserted look.

Most commuters said they were happy with the resumption of Metro services as most communters said they do not have any other option.

Meanwhile, cases in India are now rising faster than ever with over 90,000 cases reported daily for the past three days.
